SUPERVISION AND ETHICS
MANAGING THE NIGHTMARE


Dealing with ethical decision–making, ethical dilemmas and ethical breaches is one of the toughest challenges a supervisor has to face.  In this day and age it is more important than ever that supervisors are equipped to confidently and constructively handle difficult ethical conversations with supervisees.

Participants will learn to:

  • Articulate the principles underpinning ethical codes
  • Engage in ethical decision-making with supervisees
  • Create a climate in which supervisees feel safe to disclose their dilemmas
  • Address ethical concerns & dilemmas appropriately & constructively
  • Model ethical practice in your approach to supervising.

Participants will work with real situations and will have ample opportunity to discuss issues and practise in a safe environment. A comprehensive handbook will be provided.

This interactive and enjoyable workshop will be invaluable for anyone who is currently supervising, or plans to begin supervising.
